| Course description |
In this 3-day course, you will learn how to implement an enterprise Data Center routing and switching infrastructure with the next-generation Cisco Nexus 7000 platform. This course provides a technical overview of the Nexus platform architecture, deployment, and operations, including Virtual Device Contexts, Layer 2 and Layer 3 features, including vPC and OTV, FabricPath, QoS, and Security. In the lab, you will explore the features of NX-OS ver 5.1(2) and the Nexus platform in an up-to-date lab environment that includes the new F-Series modules.
|
| Why Firefly? |
We take great care to provide current and up-to-date courseware. We typically release courseware associated to a technology version very shortly after the product is in general release. We also take the ‘lessons learned” from our field teams, who are constantly deploying and migration solutions, directly into our courses.
This version of ICNX7 features the new Nexus 7000 F-Series modules, supporting the new Cisco FabricPath (Layer 2 multipathing) protocol. We've outfitted our labs with F-series modules, and added new labs for both FabricPath and Virtual PortChannels.
